How YOU Can Help

The American University of Kinshasa Foundation is a U.S. 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization. Donations to the foundation are tax-deductible.

We currently offer 2 different donation methods, to accommodate our donors and make giving to the American University of Kinshasa (Universite Franco-americaine de Kinshasa) as easy as possible:

We are also in need of gifts-in-kind.

These may be sent to:

AMERICAN UNIVERSITY OF KINSHASA FOUNDATION
HARVARD-EUMC
1555 Massachusetts Avenue
Cambridge, MA 02138

We are in special need of working laptops and cell phones. We kindly ask that all laptops consist of atleast a PentiumIII 450MHz class processor with 64MB of ram.

It is important to the AUK Foundation that donors receive full recognition for their generosity. There are a number of ways in which the Foundation would take great pride in recognizing the contributors, dependent upon the level of donation. A specific purpose for the gift may also be specified. As an alternative, donors may also choose to make a general gift to allow the AUK Foundation the flexibility of directing financial resources to the areas of greatest need

Our goal is to blend your vision with the objectives of the AUK Foundation. This will lead to a gift that is personally satisfying and beneficial for you and for the Foundation. There are marvelous opportunities for permanent recognition ranging from named buildings or parts of buildings, to medical centers and scholarships. The list is simply too long to print here.

Among the Foundation's top priorities are the challenge of participating in the construction of new buildings (specifically the classroom building and teaching hospital), funding new research, offering exchange opportunities, and promoting greater public awareness.
