• The American University of Kinshasa Foundation is a U.S. 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established to carry on and promote programs, projects and activities for the advancement of American-style higher education in Africa, with particular reference to the American University of Kinshasa/Universite Franco-Americaine de Kinshasa (UFAK) in the Congo serving as a model. It also serves as the Foundation liason to encourage and support other African institutions and related noble causes.
• Donations to the university through the foundation are tax-deductible according to the IRS tax law.
• The AUK Foundation's other priority is to promote public awareness of educational, cultural and trade exchange opportunities between Africa and the International Community.
• Much help is needed to support this vision. The University is in need of infrastructure, medical equipment, technical laboratories, public awareness promotion, organized visits, and research or exchange opportunities.
