At the American University of Kinshasa Foundation, we are in need of kind-hearted volunteers to assist us in our efforts to help the War-Shattered Congo's Forgotten Children & Students get back to school.
We believe that every person can make a difference, and together, we can change the world. Volunteers can include Children, Students, Parents, or Professionals. Parents, encourage children to volunteer; it's an educational initiative that helps teach them compassion and connects them to the rest of the World.
Below are some of the ways you can volunteer:
- Advocate for "American Children & Students Appeal for War-Torn Congo's Forgotten Children & Students" emergency fund raising campaign by using your voice through traditional media, the internet, and associations.
- Organize an awareness campaign among children and students, in local schools and colleges.
- Organize an awareness campaign in your neighborhood, place of worship, or community groups.
- Make a donation and ask your networks of colleagues, key individuals, and organizations to donate whatever they can give.
- Go to the Tell-A-Friend page in this website and forward our message to a few friends and associates.
If you would like to volunteer please contact us via e-mail with your name and contact information, including your phone number, e-mail address, and street address.
Thank you.
